Do you want to discover and learn how to build cutting edge blockchain and DLT solutions (so including a link to artificial intelligence)? In the nature2.0 community we are very ambitious: We want to explore the boundaries of what is possible (buildable) by linking new concepts like dao’s, ai-dao’s, user curated registries, public utitility networks to unimaginable narratives. We aim for an ownerless layer of natural resources and intelligent agents that promote sustainable public utilities in a world of abundance.

In this second meetup we are going to address layer 2: Public data and intelligence networks that promote data and AI for the commons.

PREPARE TO PARTICIPATE IN THE BIGGEST BLOCKCHAIN HACKATHON OF THE WORLD
This is a meetup for everybody that is passionate about tech and blockchain, but we specially aim at all the people who are thinking about taking part in the biggest blockchain hackathon in the world April 11-15th 2019 in Groningen. The nature2.o community is the host of a very special track there: The Nature2.0 track (we love the name).

CREATING BUILDING BLOCKS
The events leading up to use case experimentation will focus on the development of building blocks for a new form of social paradigm called Nature 2.0. In Nature 2.0 assets are no longer owned by companies or individuals. Therefore they are no longer constrained by the motives of their owners and can address a more commonly shared need in society. The decentralized nature of blockchains has bootstrapped the existence of decentralized autonomous organizations (DAOs) which nobody fully controls. Oxygen is not owned by any one corporation, yet it is supplied each day to us without us thinking about it. We can imagine other services that similarly exist not to the benefit of shareholders, but to fulfil a distinct predefined need.

We not only want to prepare you technically for the biggest Blockchain hackathon of the world. If you are thinking about participating we also want to help you to compose the strongest teams. That’s why we experimenting with a “Distributed” Meetup: At the same time we are organizing this meetup in Amsterdam -and- in Berlin. During the meetup there will be joined Q&A. And at the end- there is a “Tinder” for hackathon-teams to enable you to meet like-minded people in Amsterdam (or in the live-stream) to start your exploration.

We just are launching this site. Towards the hackathon it will develop in a place where you can find open source resources, which also outside the hackathon may come in handy.
There are a number of other communities (on food, on tech, on biomimicry and many more) that are considering enabling the participation of a team in the hackathon. They are also organizing meetups and creating open source resources. Visit nature2.ooo to explore the possibilities.
